Professional Learning Accountability Specialist
– West Central Florida
Reports to: Senior Professional Learning Accountability Specialist (Florida lead)
At AscendEd Intelligence, we help school districts turn data into action. Our platform empowers district leaders, principals, and teachers to:
- See Learning Gains and student movement across PM cycles
- Align instruction to benchmarks and accountability outcomes
- Take immediate, data-driven action to improve student success
As we grow our presence across West Central Florida and beyond, we are looking for mission-driven team members who want to impact student outcomes at scale.
This is not a traditional training role. We are seeking a Professional Learning Accountability Specialist to be the on-the-ground presence and face of AscendEd Intelligence for our assigned districts across West Central Florida.
You will work directly with district and school leaders — building trusted relationships, leading professional learning, supporting implementation, and ensuring our platform drives measurable outcomes for educators and students. You will partner closely with our Senior Professional Learning Accountability Specialist (Florida lead), who will guide your work, share frameworks, and support your growth.
This role blends in-district relationship management, training and coaching, data-driven decision support, and hands-on implementation execution.
If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy working directly with educators, and want to be the trusted local partner districts turn to for outcomes — this role is for you.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned district leaders, school teams, and educators

- Support district onboarding, rollout, and implementation planning in coordination with the statewide lead
- Customize sessions based on district goals, FAST data, and accountability needs
- Support educators in translating data into instructional action
- Guide districts in understanding Learning Gains (PM1 to PM3), benchmark mastery and reporting categories, and student group movement and performance trends
- Help leaders identify which students need support, where growth is happening, and what actions to take next
- Connect assessment, instruction, attendance, and behavior data to outcomes
- Provide ongoing support to ensure strong adoption and usage
- Monitor engagement and proactively support districts needing guidance
- Capture and surface district feedback to the statewide lead and product team
- Contribute to implementation frameworks, training systems, and customer success processes as we scale
- Handle administrative tasks that support strong district relationships and effective on-site engagements
- Prepare, organize, and transport printed handouts, training materials, supplies, and event boxes to district sites
- Support training material updates and customer-facing resources as needed
- Capture field insights and share with the statewide lead, product team, and leadership
- Experience in K-12 education, instructional coaching, or edtech professional learning. This role is ideal for former educators, instructional coaches, or edtech professionals who want to expand their impact beyond the classroom.
- Strong understanding of data, assessment, and accountability systems (Florida FAST strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to lead professional development for adult learners
- Comfort working with student data, performance trends, and instructional alignment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized, self-directed, adaptable, and willing to handle the full range of work that comes with being the local face of a growing company
- Must be able to meet fingerprinting requirements
- You think beyond training — you focus on impact and outcomes
- You can translate complex data into clear, actionable steps
- You are resourceful and proactive — you figure things out
